An experienced New York City sales professional and senior administrator, Morton Landowne holds a bachelor of arts from Yeshiva College and a juris doctor from Brooklyn Law School. Over the course of his exensive career, he has served for 14 years as a vice president of sales with Brooklyn's J. Landowne Co., Inc., and 24 years as a sales manager with the Plaza Packaging Corporation in the Bronx. Both of these positions placed Morton Landowne in charge of multi-million-dollar sales operations that centered on premium fragrance packaging products.
Since 2008 Morton Landowne has served as executive director of Nextbook, Inc., a company in Manhattan that publishes several periodicals with a focus on Jewish news and culture. One of these periodicals, Tablet Magazine, has printed more than 20 of his articles. His other accomplishments as an author include contributing a chapter to the book, Developing a Jewish Perspective on Culture, and an essay to the book, Parenting Adult Children.
