Nick Mastrovito

SpecialTEA Lounge & Café Supervisor

As a supervisor with the Miami-based specialTEA Lounge & Café, Nick Mastrovito is responsible for ensuring that food preparation meets Florida food safety standards. Having been promoted to supervisor within six months of joining the company, Nick Mastrovito also oversees the morning and night shifts.

In addition, he is an experienced musician and serves as a part-time music teacher at the School of Rock. In this role, Mr. Mastrovito oversees lesson plan creation alongside teaching multiple instruments.


Working with the Miami Dade County Public Schools system for four years, he served as the director of bands and chorus. During this time, Nick Mastrovito taught six classes while overseeing three after-school clubs. While there, he performed for the Miami Lakes Veteran's Day Parade and won the Orlando Heritage Festival's top prize.

A San Francisco Conservatory of Music graduate, Mr. Mastrovito earned a master's degree in guitar performance. He also holds a bachelor of music in classical guitar performance from Florida International University.
