Oscar Chou

I moved to Mainland China back in 2004 due to my father’s employment. In 2017, I moved from Mainland China to the United States of America for college. Then in 2020, I graduated from college and moved back to Taiwan because of the pandemic.

I love to explore new environments since it can cultivate curiosity in me. I also like to take advantage of the internet to maintain the common sense of English and to broaden my global vision.

During my New York Film Academy years, I worked on several student film sets. I had the chance to interact with different groups of people, it made communication, circumspection, and responsibility become part of me. This experience had me starting to value cooperation and professionalism in the workplace increasingly.

I worked at TutorABC as a sales consultant. The main duty was developing potential customers who were seeking to improve their English skills, providing solutions to customers' learning problems, and customizing learning strategies for each individual.  The front line needed to make sure online classes went smoothly, so cooperating with English teachers and IT support was a daily routine. I had the opportunities to work on more English related issues. As time went by, I found out I would love to challenge myself to work in an English workplace.

Thank you for taking the time reading my biography. I really appreciate you considering me for an interview.
