At TechDesign, we aim to bring the electronic supply chain online and make hardware innovation accessible to everyone. We are looking for independent thinkers and passionate doers to build an ecosystem that turns ideas into reality. You will be integral in building an online platform that connects hardware creators/start-ups, design houses, and electronic suppliers together. You will be working with business stakeholders to make this platform a service and deliver seamless user experience. You will be the mastermind behind our infrastructure, and incorporating new technologies in order to create innovative solutions.

• Lead the engineering team to develop web-based platform, and related systems/modulized service solutions in order to achieve business goals
• Define and build full suite of system architecture (front-end and back-end development, operations, databases and business intelligence/analytics) to support business delivery
• Blueprint technology roadmap based on TechDesign’s vision and mission
• Build an agile engineering development model to rapidly implement product feature launch-and-test cycle, incorporating data analytics and UX optimization, in order to deliver business requirement in an effective and efficient manner
• Establish standardized processes to document software development and knowledge management system for the company

Minimum qualifications:
• 5+ years in software and system development, especially in website development; relevant experience in enterprise software solutions and SaaS/PaaS model is a plus
• Bachelor degree or above is required; Computer Science/EE or equivalent practice
• Skilled in modern programming language (PHP, Python, JavaScript, etc.); familiarity with SCRUM methodology
• Hands-on experience in designing and implementing AWS cloud architecture
• Knowledge in relational database/NoSQL and big data analytics
• Strong leadership and communication skills; able to work with business owners to understand requirements and deliver high quality software
• Language: Good written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin)
