Pamela Targan

Former Junior High Art Teacher

In addition to certification as a classroom instructor, Pamela Targan holds a master’s degree in psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, New Jersey. Her professional and community experience includes 8 years as a schoolteacher with the Egg Harbor Township Board of Education, where she taught art to students in seventh and eighth grade at Slaybaugh Middle School. Pamela Targan also has a long history of involvement with the Charity League of Atlantic County, including serving a year as its president.

A dedicated artist and art collector, Pamela Targan is interested in painting and sculpture, as well as piano, ballet, and interior and millinery design. She is also an experienced horseback rider and equestrian enthusiast with a history of attendance and participation at the Devon Horse Show in Devon, Pennsylvania. In 2019, she received “Best in Show” honors in the 8th Annual Hat Contest at the Devon Horse Show’s annual Ladies Day. Ms. Targan also won Ladies Day competitions in 2012 and 2015.
