A management consultant and technology strategist, Parker Shi draws on over two decades of international experience to provide tailored advice to clients. Parker Shi is skilled in digital innovation, technology strategy and governance, and performance improvement, among other areas, and he has worked in industries from insurance and retail to health care and information technology.
After graduating with a master’s in computer science from Northwestern University, Parker Shi started his career as a project manager at McDonald’s Corporation. He went on to become a partner at Diamond Management and Technology Consultants, where he oversaw the financial services group, staffing, and training development. In 2007, he joined McKinsey & Company, where he worked with several major companies in different industries. Among his many achievements, he provided data and analytics strategy for a Fortune 10 health insurer, conducted IT strategic review for a Fortune 100 retailer, and redesigned the software architecture for a Fortune 500 company specializing in industrial automation technology.
Following over a decade as a senior partner at McKinsey & Company, Parker Shi worked for Accenture as senior managing director, leading technology strategy practices in North America as well as the rest of the world. He is currently focusing on research, developing new ideas and solutions to help clients transform their businesses through the use of technology.
