Paul Lee

Geek Squad Technician

I, Paul Lee, personally believe that a successful company comes from clear objectives with good teamwork; to form a good team comes from effective leadership, communication, and teammates with integrity to achieve the set goals.

Computer hardware, software application, network, firewall, virtualization, cloud computing, etc., to me, are all tools to help people to solve issues. However, due to so many components and configuration interacting simultaneously, any misconfiguration or misbehavior can jeopardize the whole organization. Especially, security and ransomware are major concerns now. Risks can be eliminated or minimized through periodic user awareness training.

I went to high school and finish two years computer system technology diploma at BCIT, Burnaby, B.C., Canada. After graduation, I went to Taiwan working for a shoe manufacturer group. I serve as computer IT related field ever since.

Served as the IT team lead of a shoe manufacturer group which consists two factories in China and one in Vietnam. I was in charge of the overall computer IT and electronic infrastructure, and lead my colleagues.

Moved back to Canada with my family in March 2017, and immediately found a job as an electronic product repair technician at Best Buy, the largest home appliance store in North America. I diagnostic and repair all kinds of computer/PCs/laptops, Apple products, TVs, and average completed 6~7 units per day. I was inspired by my supervisors and team leads in Best Buy. They treat colleagues with respect and make the workplace efficient with fun and joy.
