In his current position as Corporate Communications Director for MSC Industrial Supply Co., a leading industrial supply company based in North Carolina, Paul Mason has led the development and execution of communications supporting the company’s strategic transformation and new go-to-market strategy and business model. He’s also led a major re-branding of the organization aligned with the company’s purpose and values. In addition to leading communications at MSC, Mr. Mason has held corporate brand, public relations and internal communications roles with VF Corporation, Jefferson-Pilot Corp., Duke Energy and Wachovia Corp., all based in North Carolina. As Director of Corporate Communications for VF Corporation in Greensboro from 2006 to 2011, Mr. Mason guided strategic communications for the $8 billion company with nearly 50,000 employees spanning 150 countries. VF is the parent company to leading apparel and footwear brands, including Wrangler, Lee, The North Face, Vans and many others.
