Paul Reeves

Michigan Teacher, Band Director, and School Principal

Based in Michigan and Florida, Paul Reeves has a diverse background in education as a School Principal and teacher in a wide of variety of school settings, including elementary, middle school, and high school. Since 2017, Paul Reeves has focused his professional efforts on leading Impact Radio USA. His Michigan station is listened to by an audience that exceeds 40,000 daily. The broadcast lineup includes the programs he produces, as well as those he also hosts such as “Dr. Paul's Family Talk”, “Impact Smooth Jazz", Impact Classics", and "Impact Interviews and Music".

Mr. Reeves was involved in education for 32 years and taught subjects that included Band, Spanish, English, and Math. A major accomplishment was creating a middle school band program that grew to include more than 350 members and generated 800 student medalists across 17 award-winning combos. In his subsequent role as principal, he was successful in boosting school-wide academic performance in areas such as writing, reading, and math, boosting test scores by over 400%, and leading schools from the inherited "F" grades to "A" grades.

Mr. Reeves currently works as an educational consultant, assisting school boards, school administrators, teachers, other staff, and parents in their pursuits of excellence for their students.

Mr. Reeves also has an extensive background performing with local big bands and symphony orchestras, and rehearses and leads his own performing band. Having written a number of original compositions, he recorded a pair of albums focused on holiday and jazz classics, and has also authored a well-received parenting book.
