Paula Nelson MD

Experienced Dermatologist

An experienced dermatologist, Paula Nelson, MD, is a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology as well as the American Board of Pathology. Throughout her undergraduate and medical school studies, she was consistently recognized for her academic achievement with a number of different scholarships, including awards from the Women’s Dermatologic Society and the British Association of Dermatologists. In her professional career, Paula Nelson, MD, has continued to excel and has received both the Dr. Charles Drew Leadership and Service Award and the Dr. Helen O. Dickens Award for her work in the field. 

In total, Dr. Nelson has more than 20 years of experience in the field, and she most recently served as a dermatologist and dermatopathologist in Atlanta, Georgia. Outside of her work life, she enjoys staying fit through her yoga practice and running, and she participates in half-marathons on a regular basis. She also specializes in cooking vegan cuisine.
