- Projects :
- Support Soft - A self-heal plus assisted support product. The product has both desktop and web applications. It is a highly technical product which contains modules like Chat Support, Ticket Request System, Account Management, Remote Support and self-heal.
- Centralized Run Environment - Project uses TCM.exe [MTM] to execute automated scripts on daily Basis to check the health of the scripts. Project have capabilities like split run, distribute run, custom run title, email notifications, etc.
- Aptean Test Mate - It is an in-house web based project to create a friendly UI for manual QA. This tool will be able to list all automated test cases according to the user input and user will be able to execute test cases on their environment. The tool will also be able to configure the machine for automation script execution. Also worked on POC of parallel execution of selenium scripts on same machine for resource optimization.
Role and Responsibilities and Education
- Understanding the product by going through the User’s guide/Feature Specification of the product.
- Perform Manual Testing to understand the flows.
- Submit clearly written bug with correct priority and severity, if any found.
- POC of any new tool available in open source for test automation.
- Involve in daily/weekly status reporting and official meetings.
- Work with development team for test case review.
- Work with colleagues on script review to have a well maintained code.
- Work on script execution and root cause analysis of failed test cases.
- Work on execution reports, test list reports.
- Get the requirements from the team, prioritize and provide the exe with feature implemented.
- Solve any issues in the in-built product faced by team members and resolve it as soon as possible.
- Lead the team (automation) and explain them the requirements of the project.
- Get weekly status from team members and assign tasks accordingly.
- Hire resources fit for the team whenever there is any requirement.
