An executive with more than 25 years of experience in the energy and energy investment banking sectors, Peter Heintzelman has held leadership positions with Halliburton and Standard Bank, Plc, in addition to serving as chief financial officer and board director of T5 Oil and Gas. Since 2018, he has led Cobb Electric Membership Corporation as president and chief executive officer. In this role, Peter Heintzelman implements strategies to help the not-for-profit electric cooperative deliver reliable electricity and operate more than 15 programs that serve community members in need.
In addition to his work with Cobb, Mr. Heintzelman has been a regular speaker at community events, such as the Natural Resources Forum and Public Safety Week. Active within several professional organizations, he is also an executive committee member of the Cobb Chamber of Commerce.
Peter Heintzelman received a bachelor of arts in economics from the University of Texas at Austin, where he was a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. He went on to earn an MBA in international finance from Thunderbird-The American Graduate School of International Management in Glendale, Arizona.
