Philip Godfrey

Former Advisor with New State Capital Partners

An MBA graduate of the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, Philip Godfrey also holds a bachelor of business administration from the University of Hawaii. From 2002 to 2010, he served as a partner, director, and primary engagement manager on key institutional investor relationships with Pathway Capital Management. In these roles, Philip Godfrey developed new client investment programs and structured more than $15 billion in new investment commitments.

From Pathway, Mr. Godfrey joined Bay Hills Capital Management in San Francisco, California, where he executed fund investments and directed company co-investments for the private equity investment manager. Most recently, he served as a senior advisor with New State Capital Partners in Los Angeles, California, specializing in specialty manufacturing and tech-enabled service organizations. Mr. Godfrey focused on accelerating growth and building value through the implementation of capital structure solutions.

Prior to 2019, Mr. Godfrey regularly attended financial industry events. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf and traveling to several international destinations.
