Plot The film opens on the night of 13 December 2012, in a Mumbai nightclub, where the female MC introduces the upcoming song on the Jugni . The song is called "Saathiya" . A young man dances along with the music. The story begins a few years later in the same nightclub, where it is revealed that the song was not just a new release, but a new event. The event is a new 'Sakhi' , with a rare youth contest where boys and girls meet, and the boy or girl with the most 'Girlfriends' wins. The film then cuts to the current Sakhi , where the winner is Zulfi (Kunal Khemu), who is claimed to be the "Hottest Boy of India". Zulfi lives with his brother Raza and mother Nandini. Zulfi and Raza have a close relationship. Zulfi attends college, where he meets Sasha (Amrita ). Zulfi also meets Soha (Vidyut Jammwal), his childhood friend who had to marry her father due to his business. Zulfi is thrown out of college after the second round of the event for lying. The third round of the event takes place and Zulfi is eliminated. Zulfi is at home with his mother, who asks him to work in his father's business, and be more responsible and hard working. Zulfi resists and feels humiliated. Zulfi's father gets drunk at his new home and causes a fight with Zulfi's brother Raza, and Zulfi's father orders Zulfi to come to his place. Zulfi refuses and leaves. Zulfi goes to his old home, where he meets Zoya (Parvesh Chhabria), a young man who lives there with his father, uncle and cousin. Zulfi and Zoya decide to team up.
