Parana (2010) Kabir Khan's third film, Parana (2010), is about a small village in Maharashtra, where every man and woman – bar one – is either a victim of, or a victimizer of, the nexus of the police, politicians and the rural mafia. The film's antagonist is an unscrupulous politician, Sarsubam Patil, who takes a cut from corrupt police officers and tribal politicians. Kabir says, 'I have always been fascinated by death. It is something which always fascinates me.'
