My printer is an F5 (which used to be Xerox MS-40), and it was the only network printer I knew of that worked with Xerox software. I think I gave up on the Xerox Software in about 1990. Someone on comp.arch.random.misc was asking questions about what was going to happen to the publishing software at Xerox. He mentioned that it was going to be distributed with the printer software. I replied that since Xerox couldn't distribute it anymore, that he should distribute it on his own since they didn't have a contract to do it.
