The film was released on 23 November 2013. Plot The film begins with Arjuna(Sivadas) who is a courageous cop narrating his family history. His parents died in a fishing accident when he was young, and his brother was kidnapped when he was a kid. Later he solves various crimes, and slowly gets promoted to an inspector. During a case, he rescues a girl named Visala from her kidnapper. Arjuna falls in love with her. She is Devi, a trafficker who was held captive in Mumbai. The police arrest her at the airport and takes her to the police station. Arjuna challenges the police to produce a valid complaint against her, and lets her go. Visala's younger brother works as a driver for Arjuna. He tries to find out the reason behind his sister's crime, and confronts her. He breaks into her house and finds a photo in her bathroom. She is seen with another guy in the photo. She was not only killed but she was also drugged. She was kidnapped by the guy in the photo, and he had no intention to help her. The guy in the photo is none other than Kiruba (Kishore), and he is a psychopath. He is addicted to drugs, he is also an abductor of women. Devi and Kiruba meet at a place where Kiruba gets a lift. Kiruba tells her that the target for abducting her is a big businessman, and she should stay away from that guy. But Devi does not listen. They meet that businessman. Kiruba and the businessman go to a meeting. The businessman tells Kiruba to kidnap someone for him. But Kiruba kidnaps the driver of the businessman, thinking that he would be the one. He handcuffs the driver and calls the police. A policeman is sent. Kiruba tells the cop that the guy is very dangerous. The cop asks to his team to make sure that the guy is not armed.
