The European Football Federation (UEFA) has revoked Lionel Messi's 1 Champions League trophy. This was written in an article listed on the official UEFA website with the title: 'Lionel Messi: What record does he hold?'.
In that article, it was written that Lionel Messi had just won three Champions League trophies, namely in 2008-2009, 2010-2011 and 2014-2015. UEFA did not include the 2005-2006 season, in which La Pulga – nicknamed Lionel Messi – played a role in helping Barcelona to be the best in that season.

Lionel Messi was listed as registered by the Barcelona coach at the time, Frank Rijkaard. Throughout the season, Lionel Messi made six appearances in the 2005-2006 Champions League with a collection of one goal and two assists.
After appearing four times in the group phase, La Pulga played twice in the knockout phase, to be precise when Barcelona met Chelsea twice in the last 16. Unfortunately entering the quarterfinals, Lionel Messi never appeared again.

The man who is now the father of three children suffered a tear in his leg muscle, so he was absent in the quarter-finals, semifinals and final. Despite being absent in these three rounds, Lionel Messi's name has the right to be listed as the player who helped Barcelona win the 2005-2006 Champions League, considering that La Pulga was registered and made six appearances, both in the group and knockout phases.
"Messi has won three Champions League trophies in 2009, 2011 and 2015 (all with Barcelona)," wrote UEFA.
If UEFA did not recognize Lionel Messi's trophy in 2005-2006, he would automatically be two titles away from his eternal rival, Cristiano Ronaldo. The man who got the nickname Mr. The Champions League has won five Big Ear trophies.
Cristiano Ronaldo won five Champions League trophies in 2007-2008, 2013-2014, 2015-2016, 2016-2017 and 2017-2018. Amazingly, Cristiano Ronaldo almost always scores in the final.
He scored one goal each in the 2007-2008 Champions League final, 2013-2014, 2015-2016 (penalties) and 2016-2017. Only in the 2017-2018 season did Cristiano Ronaldo fail to score, after he was covered by the brilliant actions of his teammate, Gareth Bale.
