A: Solution: To provide you the proper interface, and to integrate this into the VCDS of this new version of USB COM ports, we require a modified version of the Vagcom COM port driver that can work with both Serial and USB interface. This modified version of the Vagcom driver works on both 32-bit and 64-bit platforms. Download the VCDS Version 11.11.3 and copy both the VCDS and the Vagcom driver from the two zip files into the VCDS/Drivers/Drivers64 folder. Once installed, the Vagcom driver should appear in the Device Manager. You may now plug into the port and should have a working VCDS interface to interface with the VW. The VCDS 11.11.3 version of the Vagcom driver currently does not work with Win 7 64-bit. There have been multiple issues with the current Vagcom driver and we are working on a fix.
