Priscilla Slade 

Special Assistant to the Provost at Jackson State

An experienced university administrator, Priscilla Slade holds a bachelor of science in business from Mississippi State University, a master of public accounting from Jackson State University, and a doctor of accounting from the University of Texas at Austin. Over the course of her career, Priscilla Slade has demonstrated an ability to transform institutions of higher learning by restructuring fiscal operations and implementing a range of new internal departments and improvement plans. 


Priscilla Slade has served as special assistant to the provost at Jackson State University (JSU) in Jackson, Mississippi, since 2008. Overseeing operations for international programs and community colleges from the JSU Global office, she supervises six major departments/facilities, including the English as a Second Language Institute and the international visitors center. Ms. Slade also developed JSU Passport to the World, an innovative program that received the 2016 David Gillingham Award from the Network of International Business Schools.
