連師屏LIEN,SHIH-PING
連師屏，1993/10/28生於台北，複合媒材繪畫創作者，大學、研究所為藝術與設計專業，榮獲國內外創作相關獎項20餘項，並連續5年獲全國美術比賽獎項、於2017榮獲亞洲插畫大賞。參與文創市集及設計活動海報logo形象、商品包裝與大型公共彩繪，並在藝廊與文創園區多次舉辦展覽。作品擅長運用各式媒材之重疊覆蓋與線條製造平面視覺效果，以身體為對象去探究同源、重疊卻又分裂的形象。使用改變體型特點或掩蓋身體的方式，通過質疑自己與周圍世界的關係來將性別身份和社會對女性的期望訴諸於討論。
LIEN, SHIH-PING born in Taipei on October 28, 1993. Mixed media paint creator, University and Masters majoring in Art and Design, Received more than 20 awards related to creation, And won the National Fine Arts Competition of Taiwan for 5 consecutive years from 2006 to 2011. Awarded the Asian Illustrator Award in 2017. Participate in the logo image, merchandise packaging and large-scale public painting of Wenchuang market and design activities, and hold exhibitions in Art Gallery and Wenchuang Park. The work excels at using the overlapping coverage and lines of various media to create a flat visual effect. Explore the image of homology, overlap, and division with the body as the object. Use ways to change body characteristics or cover your body, By questioning the relationship with the world around you To discuss gender identity and society's expectations of women with the public.

童年時期，喜歡躲貓貓藏在衣櫃與紙箱是因為渴望被他人找到自己；青春期總是帶耳機趴在桌上裝睡，獨自在樓梯間空教室吃午餐是覺得不被理解的無聲抗議；新聞媒體中社會罪犯們被逮捕時閃光燈下的場景、躲藏、遮掩顏面、身體蜷縮扭曲、衣不遮體、頭髮凌亂……種種都是面對公權暴力與社會審視的驚恐、羞恥、屈辱、無助。
我在自己的作品中通過對頭髮、肉體、服飾的解構使畫面產生一種孤立、斷裂，又無可奈何的感覺，表現當今社會飛速發展,權力的濫用與壓迫使得人們心中產生一個個傷痕累累的秘密與掙扎，用作品作為發聲與世界談論這些秘密。
In my childhood, I liked to hide in the wardrobe and carton because I wanted to be found by others. Adolescence is always sleeping on the desk with headphones on, eating lunch alone in an empty stairwell classroom is a silent protest that doesn't feel understood; In the news media, social criminals are arrested under the flashing lights of the scene, hiding, covering face, body curled and twisted, naked, hair messy... All these are in the face of public violence and social scrutiny of fear, shame, humiliation, helplessness. I in his works through the deconstruction of the hair, body, dress makes images to produce a isolated, fracture, and helpless feeling, show rapid development in today's society, abuse of power and oppression makes people heart a small scar secrets with struggle, with works as a voice to talk about the secret with the world.

把可見的給遮住，把臉隱藏起來。這是常常發生的事情。我們所見事物遮蔽了其他，我們總好奇那些東西是什麼。有趣的是，無論被隱藏的、或是可見的事物都沒有提供解答。
我的畫是看得見的圖像，背後隱藏著未知與謎團，但它會勾人想像，當有人看見我的畫作，會問自己『那到底是什麼意思？』但它其實什麼都不是，因為混屯的謎團根本無從被認識。
Hide the visible, hide the face. This is something that happens all the time. What we see obscures everything else, and we wonder what it is. Interestingly, neither the hidden nor the visible provides a solution. My painting is a visible image, hiding the unknown and mystery behind it, but it conjures up the imagination that when someone sees my painting, they will ask themselves, "what on earth does that mean?" But it is nothing at all, for the mystery of the mixton is not known at all.

真正想要的東西總是躲藏在直觀所見的物體背後，而那些物體永遠無法被挪開，因為它並非是一件真實存在的物體，而存在於視覺或思維本身，所以被創作出來的那些畫面違背了我們所熟悉的感官認知。人們所看到的事物都另有隱藏，我們也都極力想要看透那些秘密。其實，那是不可能的。看似尋常，卻永遠不會知道後面的那個，究竟是什麼模樣，換句話說，「被遮蓋」或者隱藏，才是事物永恆的真相。
What we really want is always hidden behind the intuitive objects, and those objects can never be removed, because it is not a real object, but exists in the visual or thinking itself, so the created images go against our familiar sensory cognition. What people see is hidden, and we all struggle to see through it. Actually, that's impossible. It seems ordinary, but never know what the latter one is, in other words, "covered" or hidden, is the eternal truth of things.
