Livingston, New Jersey, resident Rao Chalasani concluded a nearly two decade career in senior technology executive leadership, ending his career as a trading risk management director and business chief technology officer at Bank of America in New York, NY. During his time in this position, he was the sole inventor of the United States patent pending Enterprise Risk Management System, while also managing every aspect of the bank’s Global Markets Executive Risk Management Platform. Prior to joining Bank of America, Rao Chalasani spent more than 3 years as director of global credit, real estate, and structured products at Merrill Lynch, a position that also involved chief technology officer and global credit trading risk management responsibilities. His past positions include vice president of global derivatives technology with Deutsche Bank and vice president of global fixed income technology and e-commerce at Merrill Lynch.
Mr. Chalasani holds a degree in engineering from New York University Polytechnic Institute. Since retiring, he has enjoyed cycling and supporting philanthropic organizations such as UNICEF and Doctors Without Borders.
