We recruit native English-speaking teachers to Taiwan to teach in public schools. I'm an employee of Teach Taiwan but I work under the Department of Education in Taoyuan City. My duties are listed below :
1. Assist FETs to acquire work permit's, visas, ARCs and other required documents
2. Coordinate between FETs and schools
3. Provide guidance for FETs, such as lesson plans, life in Taiwan, etc.
4. Assist English Teaching Resources Center of Taoyuan City to hold a variety of activities; Halloween, Sports Day, Christmas Celebration, Earth Day and English learning related events.
6. Film teaching demo videos of teachers and edit them.
7. Upload pictures and videos of FETs at classes to Taoyuan English Teaching resource Center Website and website maintenance.

English Lecturer

Gjun Inc.

I teach as a part-time lecturer at Gjun and the lessons that I engage in are :
1. Conversational English
2. Travel English
3. Work and Travel English
4. Listening Comprehension English
I love to share my own work and travel experience with my students during the lessons and I will usually prepare interactive activities on Monday as warm-ups for students to share their weekends and, as for Wednesday, we will go through an international event that happened elsewhere outside of Taiwan and we share ideas and thoughts with each other. In my opinion, learning English isn't just for the content from the textbooks, it's about communicating and understanding a different culture, so keeping up with what's happening around the world is very crucial.

I participated in work and travel to Yellowstone National Park right after I graduated from university. We spent four months there and I was a cook. My duties were making breakfast and lunch for customers.
