Rebecca Linke

Experienced Equine and Farm Animal Veterinarian

Dr. Rebecca Linke began her career as a veterinary intern at Chino Valley Equine Hospital, a role that involved observing and assisting the equine surgeons in all aspects of veterinary medicine, from routine treatments to physical examinations and assessment of patients to scrubbing in on surgeries. She joined Colts Neck Equine Associates in 2006 as an associate veterinarian. Over the course of nearly 14 years, she gained insight into medical issues common to many different equestrian disciplines, as well as the provision of medical services in both routine and emergency settings. In 2020 Dr. Rebecca Linke established her own all-ambulatory solo practice, Phoenix Equine, LLC. Her practice emphasizes equine, large animal, and farm animal care, though she also offers limited services to small animals, including chickens and pigs, and emergency coverage on a limited basis.

During her time as an undergraduate at Cornell University in New York, Dr. Linke played collegiate polo as a freshman and also trained and competed on her Thoroughbred showjumper. She also served as a teaching assistant in several courses, including equine husbandry and genetics. Following four consecutive semesters on the Dean’s List, she graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s in animal science in 2000.

Rebecca Linke continued her education at the University of Pennsylvania, earning her veterinariae medicinae doctoris as an American Animal Hospital Association representative in 2005.
