Former Westmoreland County Public Schools Superintendent
After serving multiple administrative roles with Cleveland Municipal School District in Cleveland, Ohio, Rebecca Lowry relocated to Dayton, Ohio, where as associate superintendent with Dayton Public Schools she directed support and enrollment services for approximately 14,000 students. Rebecca Lowry subsequently relocated to Boothwyn, Pennsylvania, to serve as an assistant superintendent with Chichester School District, where she oversaw the development of academic and behavioral programs including Positive Behavior Systems and Response to Intervention and Instruction.
She served as the superintendent of Westmoreland County Public Schools (WCPS) in Montross, Virginia, from 2011 to 2015. Her responsibilities involved managing curriculum and monitoring all faculty and staff operations.
She holds a PhD in educational leadership from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, and for the past year and a half, she has worked as a school psychologist with Cumberland Therapies in Ansonia, Ohio. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, scuba diving, and caring for her pets.
