I have 12+ years of experience in designing customer interactions with the company and its products. I have handled various job responsibilities from Direct Marketing to Public Relations and now to the role of “whole-brain” marketing manager.In my current role, I am solely responsible for the brand building with the strategic thrust on product marketing.

I have travelled extensively for business in EMEA and US, and have had the opportunity of working with people from diverse backgrounds. This has helped me gain a global outlook and also confidence to deal with people at all levels and backgrounds.

Orvito’s new voice and thoughtfully distributing a mix of relevant original and curated content, there was an organic uptick in Orvito’s audience size and reach, particularly on Facebook. Orvito has been added to 100+ IoT-related Twitter lists, is routinely retweeted, and has attracted several high profile followers including Gartner.

As a PR exercise extensive secondary research was conducted and the gaps in the industry were identified as pointed out by influential media persons. A media kit was designed that spoke about the strength of the company and subtly highlighting how the company solutions have the capability beyond what is there in the market. This led to a very successful PR reach out exercise where the Forbes Editor contributing to the next market series reached out to us for a conversation with our CTO.

Having worked in a startup for the last 5 years, with a 4 member team I have been instrumental in designing and setting up entire marketing communication for the organization. It started with having the hygiene factors for communication in place, naming and designing the products, app design and now to partner & retail management.


A lot of hard work also went into my decision of participating in CEDIA 2015 in Dallas. It started with getting the right booth (as we were really late in applying) and setting it up without any help of the vendor. We designed the entire booth in house and got it shipped from China at a shoestring budget. The effort yielded in signing up of 150 partners in the region.  (


Another high impact job that I undertook was getting the products designed and manufactured from South Korea, Singapore and getting them manufactured in ChinaDue to resource restrain we could not go to a renowned product design agency, I worked closely with designers from Samsung design institute in S Korea and a relatively smaller firm in Singapore to get the products out. Design Patent has been applied in my name for Spindle ( )


Few of the qualities that I possess to be a successful marketer are –

  • Highly adaptive (still hung on - anything I want to be when I grow up!)
  • Innovative but research backed decisions for example I introduced Orvito IoT platform called Orvito Nucleo™ when there was too much of noise in single product companies. This positioning helped me get my CTO an interview with likes of Michael Wolf of Forbes with my first ever press release for the organization
  • Team player with focus on organization success and personal growth rather than wasting efforts on proving myself
