Rick Bourre spent six years working at the Massachusetts Highway Department. In Rick Bourre worked as part of a team called the Public/Private Development Unit which coordinated with the Highway Design and Traffic Engineering divisions to develop appropriate mitigation measures for private development projects proposed along state highways.
