Business Leader Robert Myer 

Since 2001, Robert Myer has operated his own Baton Rouge-based real estate investment firm with a concentration on properties in both Louisiana and Mississippi. For the past year, Robert Myer has concurrently overseen the entrepreneurial financial services startup Myer Retail Services and Choice Franchise Consulting.

As part of his real estate investment activities over the past two decades, Mr. Myer owned and operated multiple locations of Comfort Keepers, an in-home senior care franchise from 2007 to 2019, and multiple locations of Express Employment Professionals, a franchised staffing agencies from 2001 to 2018. Before beginning to work for himself as an independent business owner and franchisee, he served as various capacities before leaving State Farm as a Vice President in agency marketing and worked in banking as a commercial loan officer in Alexandria, Louisiana.

To augment his professional activities, Robert Myer is a member of the Baton Rouge Area Chamber of Commerce and part takes in numerous philanthropic endeavors involving church activities and started the Myer Restore Hope Fund as a part of the Baton Rouge Area Foundation. In his free time, he enjoys boating, playing golf, and attending a range of live sports and music events.
