Robert Tirgan

Columbus-Based Architect

A longtime resident of Ohio, Robert Tirgan studied both architecture and psychology at the University of Cincinnati, where he was active with the Delta Tau Delta fraternity. He ultimately earned his bachelor of architecture from Arizona State University in Tempe and his master of architecture and design from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Robert Tirgan’s areas of professional interest include architectural modernism and the role of deconstructionism in 21st century design.

For the past 2 years, Robert Tirgan has served as president of The Modern Edge in Columbus, Ohio. In addition to designing ground-up structures as an architect with the Modern Edge, he engages in a range of real estate development and rehabilitation initiatives.

To inform his professional activities, Mr. Tirgan has attended multiple annual meetings of the National Multifamily Housing Council in Orlando, Florida. He also follows the international online architecture news sources ArchDaily and Architectural Digest on LinkedIn.
