Robert Frieman, MD, completed his Psychoanalytic Education at the Washington Center for Psychoanalysis in Washington, DC. Dr. Frieman is a resident of Washington, DC and was certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology .

Dr. Robert Frieman started his career as an Active Staff Psychiatrist at the Howard County General Hospital Psychiatry Department a branch of Johns Hopkins Hospital in Columbia, Maryland. He also worked at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore as an Assistant Clinical Professor in Psychiatry.

Subsequently, he went into Private Practice and became a
Solo Practitioner in Columbia, MD. He later moved his Private Practice to Washington, DC. Dr. Robert Frieman is licensed to work in the District of Columbia, Maryland, California and New York.

Dr. Robert Frieman is a member of the American Psychoanalytic Association, the American Psychiatric Association, the Washington Psychiatric Society, and the Washington Center for Psychoanalysis. He studied Zoology at the University of California Berkeley and earned his Doctor of Medicine from UC San Francisco.
