West Palm Beach, Florida’s Ronald Russo.


A retired music teacher and band director, Ronald Russo has taught general music classes for K-6 students at Thomaston Public Schools in Thomaston, Connecticut, and K-8 students at Bethlehem Schools in Bethlehem, Connecticut. His accomplishments as a band director include building a band program from scratch for Region 14 schools in the Connecticut towns of Woodbury and Bethlehem.


Ronald Russo also served in the public sphere through a number of positions with the Connecticut city of Watertown, serving two years on the Watertown Town Council, six years on the Watertown Board of Education, and a term on the Watertown Redevelopment Committee.


An avid fan of Broadway theater, Ronald Russo has missed being close to New York City since moving to West Palm Beach, Florida, in 2014. However, he holds season tickets at West Palm Beach’s Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts. Mr. Russo’s other interests include reading about history and visiting Civil War battlefields.
