Rudy Sablon

Education Consultant Helping Inspire At-Risk Youth

As director of operations and social enterprise at The Motivational Edge in Miami, Rodolfo “Rudy” Sablon manages the day-to-day operations that help inspire youth who are homeless, incarcerated, in residential treatment facilities, or facing other challenges to excel in academics and life preparedness. In doing so, Rudy Sablon works in collaboration with the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice and the Florida Department of Children and Families and the City of Miami & Miami-Dade County government.

Rudy Sablon has worked in this capacity since 2008, and concurrently worked five years as president and CEO of Race 2 the Top, through which he provided consulting services to school districts throughout the US deemed to be “in distress.” His work in this regard involved performing complete audits of a school district's internal processes and eliminating fiscal excess. Among other areas, he helped serve school districts in Chicago, Detroit, and Philadelphia. He also provided similar services through three years as executive vice president of Apex Tutoring Corporation serving thousands of youth across the nation.

Complementing more than 15 years of experience as an education consultant, Rodolfo Sablon holds a bachelor's degree in early childhood education from Florida International University and is pursuing an executive degree in nonprofit leadership and management at the University of Notre Dame.
