Eco - Hydrology Field Assistant, Summer 2017
- Worked for the McMaster Eco-Hydrology Lab group in Northern Alberta, studying the impacts of wildfire and mining on boreal forests and peatlands
- Conducted in field and lab research to determine recovery trajectories of peatlands post-wildfire, ultimately to inform oil sands reclamation practices for CNRL and Syncrude Energy Co.
Keating Educational Tours: Tour Guide, Feb 2015 - Present
- Delivered fun and education tours for classes of middle school students to Quebec City, Montreal and New York City
- Lead 3 - 5 day school group tours, acting as an informed educational guide, and the primary resource and contact for both students and teachers
- Liaised with various suppliers to confirm reservations, and ensure both the logistical operation, and participant enjoyment of the tour
African Lion Safari: Food Service Crew Chief, Summer 2010 - 2013
- Oversaw and managed over 20 outdoor food staff spread across 10 park locations
- Responsible for the transportation and distribution of product throughout the park, from warehouse to location, including the maintenance of food quality and product utilization

Hack The City - Energy Stream: First Place Team, Jan 2017 - Apr 2017
- Worked closely with three other students over the course of a three month hack-a-thon to claim first prize in the "energy challenge"
- Developed and adopted a "block chain" energy system to work for the pier 8 development in Hamilton Harbour
- Worked with and was evaluated by members of Siemens Canada, The Hamilton Chamber of Commerce, and Hamilton Utilities Corporation, as well as various Hamilton Start-ups
McMaster Students Union: Student Representative Assembly Member, May 2016 - Apr 2017
- Elected member of the science caucus charged with governing the non - profit students union along with 31 other representatives

McMaster Science Society, May 2016 - Jan 2017
- Responsible for the planning and execution of the annual science formal welcoming over 600 guests to Liuna Station in downtown Hamilton for an evening of dinner, live music, and events
- Hired, empowered, and worked alongside a team of four exceptional volunteers who assisted in the planning and execution of the formal
- Managed a $30,000 budget, generating $22,000 in online ticket sales in under 5 minutes, making it the fastest selling event in McMaster history
Creating Leadership Amoungst Youth Conference: Volunteer and Logistics Coordinator: Dec 2015 - May 2016
- Responsible for the organizing and executing of all logistical aspects of a three day, two night leadership conference
- Worked to hire a staff team of university student leaders, as well as the training and organizing of a logistics team, before and during the conference
- Played a large support role for other planning team members, as well as the conference coordinator, in both the lead up to and execution of the conference
Faculty of Science: Welcome Week Senior Rep: Sep 2015, 2016
- Facilitated the running of science events and activities throughout welcome week to help ease the transition for incoming first year students
- Lead a group of upper year leaders throughout the week, ensuring the best use of our time as reps, as well as focusing on their personal leadership growth as individuals.
