Projects Examples

On-line Customer Portals

Customers can apply and pay all building/demo/U&O permits, schedule all building inspections and renew their rental property registrations/licenses online. All modules are designed by me and built in-house by myself and the development team.

Message Board

Through the electronic message board function, instead of using personal emails, all communication between staffs and customers can be monitored. A machine learning/AI module is being developed to automatically categorize response priority.

Mobile Apps

A mobile app has been developed for building and housing inspectors. Inspectors can update their inspection results, take pictures, write memos and research routes on their phones. Another mobile app is being developed for customers to schedule inspections.

GIS

Award: 2018 ESRI SAG Award

A GIS tool using ESRI has been developed. It combines different data sources into one place. Users won't need to open different application to find the information. 

Data Visualization

Beside GIS, non geographic data can be present graphically. PowerBI is being used. However, a very sophisticated and customized application is being built using D3.js(https://d3js.org/).

Open Source

A cluster of GIS open source tools are being tested now. The platform has been built using GeoServer and PostgreSQL/PostGIS.
