Infosys Ltd (Nov 2018 - till date)

Client: Telstra

Description: Currently working on a datawarehouse project of Telstra which is the leading telecommunication giant in Australia. Telstra business is divided into retail and wholesale. The application i am working on is Wholesale Data Repository which handles all the key customer information, transactions involved, billing information involved in the wholesale business of Telstra. This is a dedicated application that does not involve any employee working on retail division so that, data confidentiality is maintained not to exploit it for unfair advantage in retail business.

Systems Engineer Role:

Responsible for the batch monitoring of WDR application which consists of critical details related to Wholesale business of Telstra.
Responsible for flexible loading of data into the datawarehouse.
Responsible for handling critical reports that contain weekly statistics of the interfaces involved in the application.
Working closely with the DBA team to ensure data quality, successful running of the jobs.
Troubleshooting the issues that arise while running the jobs using unix.
Ensuring the jobs run according to the prefixed schedules.
