Searching for the next big adventure in UI design.

Experience

Yale Computer Science Graphics Lab, Jan 2010-2013

§ Implemented image-processing pipelines for a novel approach to developing computational models of materials.

§ Wrote image-analysis code in Python and developed system for managing tens of thousands of images taken in each data collection.

§ Refactored existing code to allow extensibility and multithreading, wrote new code that interfaces DSLR cameras and Raspberry Pi computers.

§ Author on paper “Testing spatial patterns for acquiring shape and subsurface scattering properties” presented at Electronic Imaging 2016 conference.

Young Scholars Program at Florida State University, summer 2013  Conducted astrophysics research by designing software to analyze fractals and multifractals in stellar phenomena. One of 40 top science students in the state of Florida accepted into this selective summer program. Described by the principal investigator as “by far the most productive YSP student I have had the pleasure to work with,” and “went far beyond what we planned to achieve.”§ Conducted astrophysics research by designing software to analyze fractals and multifractals in stellar phenomena.Young Scholars Program at Florida State University, summer 2013
