With more than three decades of experience in emergency services, Scott Fellhoelter serves as battalion chief for the Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACFD). His prior roles with the LACFD have included working as a regional assessment center instructor, paramedic captain, and rescue youth mentor. In addition to his work with the fire department, Scott Fellhoelter invents and develops products that reduce biohazards in public restrooms through his company, Creative Commodities, founded in 2014. He holds a U.S. patent on his flagship invention, the Touchless Toilet Paper Dispenser. The dispenser helps reduce waste by automatically dispensing a predetermined amount of toilet paper, and reduces contamination caused by hand contact and bacteria by housing toilet paper rolls inside a sanitary container. His invention provides technology to remotely monitor when the dispenser requires refills and servicing from janitorial personnel.

He enjoys riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles and boating in his leisure time.
