Colorado Action Sports and Documentary Filmmaker 

Scott Klumb is an acclaimed Boulder, CO filmmaker who leads SMK Media Production, LLC, and offers an array of film production, drone, and still photography services. Focused on action sports, Scott Klumb has gained international recognition for his editing style in backcountry and freestyle ski films. His work has been featured on networks such as ESPN, as well as in high-profile ski movie productions.

Over the past several years, Mr. Klumb has expanded his Boulder, CO-based work to encompass nature and time-lapse photography, and he has shown his work at exhibitions such as an art show held at Eldorado Canyon State Park. He also moved into documentary filmmaking that culminated in the award-nominated film “Autism: One Man's Journey.”

A memoir that explores Mr. Klumb’s own experience being diagnosed with autism in his early 20s, “One Man's Journey” embodies values of perseverance through hardship and finding pathways to hope. Screened at film festivals nationwide, the inspiring documentary features a revealing interview with Dr. Temple Grandin that the filmmaker conducted himself. His most recent cinematic accomplishment is the film “Autism Ability,” which was entered into the 2020 Easter Seals Disability Film Challenge and earned the Warner Entertainment Best Editor Award.

Scott Klumb is active with the Autism Society of Colorado, and he enjoys activities such as hiking and watching sunrises and sunsets in nature when he has the opportunity.
