自傳
我是簡嘉炫，畢業於政治大學心理學所工業與組織組。
我認為符合我的關鍵字是：審慎思考、理性與感性以及支援性角色。
在個性上，我一直是一個有多少證據、講多少講話的人，這是心理學給我的訓練，也是我喜歡資料科學的原因。在做心理學實驗時，研究者不會單就統計來說明結果，還必須思考整體邏輯是否通順、是否符合人性？如果只有統計結果而沒有文獻或邏輯支持，可能會犯了邏輯上的錯誤，在日常工作中我們也應該追根究柢，考慮到最根本的原因，再來配合數據解釋與說明，例如我們發現：轉系的同學在後續課程中平均成績都相對其他人高，我們就直接下結論說：同學轉系後成績就會得到提升嗎？我認為應該更深入人類的思維，從人的角度出發。我們應該思考的是：轉系同學的思考脈絡及情境為何？是轉系影響成績、還是成績影響轉系，抑或兩者根本無關？這都是要進入更深的層次去釐清。我認為最有可能的解釋是轉系的同學有著充分且經篩選的背景知識、以及超越他人的動機，才能支撐轉系的事實，才能夠使其能夠有優異的表現。因此我也認為：在做判斷或決策時如果利用邏輯、理論和數據整合輔助的話，可以更確定我們的方向是否正確，或是在有風險時達到拮抗的作用。慶幸的是，心理系的訓練讓我能夠理性（例如統計分析和量化研究的能力），也能感性（例如人際敏銳度以及同理心）。讓我在日常工作中的應對能夠更有效的「讀到空氣」，以及理解需求背後的各種隱藏涵義。因此我認為有心理系的背景會是我的一個大優勢。
此外，我認為我自己的個性非常適合擔任一位支援型角色，每當完成其他人提出的需求、提供同仁他們所需的資料時，得到其他同仁充滿感謝的回饋，就是對我最好的鼓勵。我的碩士論文主題也與此相關：我的碩士論文研究主題為僕人式領導，代表性的行為就是：以他人的需求為優先、能夠同理他人，並且以服務其他人為主要核心信念，看到其他人發光、發熱、成長，自己就能從中得到成就感。因此我認為資料工程師是一個非常適合我的職位，我樂於接受其他人提出的需求，也樂於看見大家利用我所提供的資料進行各式各樣的加值應用，而當資料團隊得到好的績效，或是其他單位成功的應用資料達成一些成果，我都會因此覺得開心。
綜合上述，我認為擁有心理學背景，又有資料科學技能的我，是資料科學團隊中不可或缺的角色之一，我能夠在團隊中擔任穩定的後盾，協助爬梳資料、建立資料流、維護資料倉儲等等。同時，我也期望自己能夠在相關的領域繼續發光、發熱，以成為一名在資料科學路上讓人感到安心依靠的後盾為目標前進。
