我是來自馬來西亞的謝秉憲，畢業於世新大學新聞系。具備專業媒體識讀、敏銳的觀察力、寬廣的同理心、有條理的邏輯思維，且擅長中文、英文與馬來文。個性活潑開朗，喜歡結交來自世界各地的朋友。從小立志用有溫度的文字來感染讀者群，符合文字記者和編輯所需的條件與熱忱。 

【畢業後第一份工作：體育企劃編輯】

每日翻譯至少10篇600字體育外電新聞，適應中英文快速切換，確保每月錯誤低於1篇。

剛開始難抓到記者會重點，但2場從旁觀摩後，掌握快速總結和歸納重點能力，獨自完成新聞稿撰寫，後也被派遣進行英文採訪。

代表世新大學前往中國大陸參與比賽，連續4天完成4場比賽，以6個小時擬定架構，快速進行模擬賽，最終奪得季軍。學會和壓力共處、溝通協調、團隊合作。

過程中導演和編劇組起爭執，找組員們理解情況，找雙方當面溝通，最終在4個月內準時完成微電影製作，最終奪得傳技展優等獎。學會同理心對待、帶領團隊、觀察溝通。

【About Me】

I am Alex Sieh from Malaysia. I graduated from the Department of Journalism at Shih Hsin University. I am equipped with professional media literacy and article writing skills and am proficient in Chinese, English, and Malay. Since a young age, I have been determined to warm readers with my text, and I think such passion makes me suitable for journalist and editor roles. I am a cheerful person and I like to make friends from all over the world. With high standards for myself, I complete tasks efficiently, have strong logical thinking ability, and works in an orderly manner. 

【First Job after Graduation: Sports Editor】 

• English Translation Ability 
  

My job responsibility was to translate at least ten 600-word sports news articles every day. With my proficiency in both Chinese and English, I adapted to my job swiftly. I ensured that my error rate was less than one article per month. 

•  Inter-departmental Communication Skills 
  

As an editor, I often needed to hold meetings with PM, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers. I would prepare presentations and data before the meeting, accurately express the thoughts during the meeting, and make sure the finalization of decisions would be completed in one single meeting. After the meeting, I would also take initiative in consolidating the content and provide the information to relevant departments through Email and Slack.

【Part time: Special Editor for Digital Content】 

• Adaptability
  

As a part-time special editor, my work performance was recognized by the general manager. With my English communication and adaptability, I was dispatched to the New Taipei City Government Summer Youth Games as a Facebook fan page editor to update events and do translations in real-time. 

• Achievement
  

Helped the company reach KPIs in the New Taipei City government media bidding, completed the structure of social media content within 3 weeks, dispatched personnel to assist in the translation of the competition, and received big bonuses. 

 【Campus Life】 

• Intern Reporters On and Off Campus 
  

During my internship at the Central News Agency, I went to news sites alone for interviews and filming. It was difficult to grasp the key points of the press conference at the beginning, but after only three experiences of learning from the sidelines, I have learned how to summarize key points quickly and complete the press release. After gaining the trust of my supervisor, I was also dispatched to the "Lion King" foreign troupe press conference for an English interview. 

• Debate 
  

Debate taught me how to live with pressure. I went to China to participate in the competition on behalf of my school. It took 4 consecutive days to complete 4 games. Although the team members didn't know each other for a long time, through effective communication and rational discussion, our team worked out a structure in 6 hours, carried out the simulation game quickly, and finally won the third place in the competition. 

• Event Coordinator of the Class 
  

I was voted to be the event coordinator of the Short Film Exhibition. During the process, the director and the screenwriter had disputes due to disagreements. I realized that the two parties lacked communication as they both expressed their opinions through other team members. So, I asked the two parties to communicate face-to-face and thus the team was able to quickly reach a consensus. After 4 months of hard work, we won the prize of the Short Film Exhibition. 

【Future Career Planning】 

• Within 1 to 4 years 
  

I hope to be able to work as a journalist and editor to increase profound and professional writing experience and accumulate an outstanding portfolio for my career. If there is a chance, I will also strive to be dispatched overseas for business trips to have a broader international outlook. 

• Within 5 to 7 years 
  

I will strive to improve my own leadership skills and hope to take on more management responsibilities in the future. I look forward to working with outstanding supervisors so that I can also become a competent supervisor myself. The journey of writing is very long. So, apart from helping the company achieve its goals, I would also like to realize my own dream.
