Company: NTT DATA Romania
At NTT I had the pleasure to work on 2 projects until now, while gaining experience on both functional testing and integration testing.
In the first project I was assigned to European Patent Organization, where I have developed automated tests for an existing service and for a new feature. The main challenge was to implement the logic and setup for both services as the automation was started from zero. Regarding frameworks I have worked on front-end side with Serenity with Selenium + JUnit and on back-end side JUnit + REST Assured. I have also helped to configure Jenkins builds for both services and MongoDB was used as a database.
As per second project I was assigned to European Medicines Agency to do Integration tests on a new feature. The challenge here was mainly to learn Spring Boot and MockMvc testing tool and of course to read and understand developers code to be able to modify existing tests and add new automated tests for each controller class. Other tools included in this project were Jenkins, JUnit 5, Git, Jira.
On both projects I have used Java, Intellij, Maven and my main focus was on back-end side.
Company: accesa.eu
Even if my stay in Accesa was short and most of the work done here involved UI manual testing, my main goal was to make a plan on how the project will benefit from automation testing and of course I have started helping with the automation framework setup.
