In my current role, I am responsible for creating and executing in-depth marketing & eCommerce plans for a portfolio of Select Brand hotels throughout the Northeast, each with unique market challenges, segment dynamics and need periods. I manage budgets, report to stakeholder groups, strategize and develop property-specific initiatives to create new demand, and align with key corporate initiatives. I work in tandem with internal teams to ensure synergy and consistency across brands and regions while developing collateral, landing pages and website modules, managing renovation marketing plans and photo shoots, and maintaining each hotel’s presence on Marriott.com, eChannels and destination marketing sites.
At Vital, a web development agency, I planned and managed daily schedules and projects for UX, graphic design, copywriting, development and QA teams, both in-office and remotely in India. I achieved exceptional client satisfaction through proactive management of schedules, budgets, potential risks and expectations. During my tenure, I directed strategy, design, development and maintenance of WordPress sites, inbound marketing strategies, and other projects for a roster of 50+ clients across several industries including food & beverage, hospitality, retail, finance, legal, technology, manufacturing and not-for-profits.
At O'Rourke Hospitality Marketing, an agency north of Boston, I managed print, large format and digital projects from conception to completion for hospitality industry clients, including many Marriott properties, independent hotels and resorts. The clients I supported increased the number of billable projects threefold during my tenure, and revenue more than doubled from my clients when compared to the year before I joined the team.
