Established in 1971,V K Pump Industries is one of the leading manufacturers of Metering Pumps & Chemical Injection Package, Equipment's & Pressure Vessels in India for various applications. Complete skid mounted Chemical Injection Systems to meet the specific requirements of customers like ONGC/IOCL/BPCL/BHEL/L&T.
Roles & Responsibilities : (Chemical Injection Packages)
- Lead the project for the timely submission of all engineering documents including drawing datasheet as per the project schedule.
- Review & understanding the piping design tender documents (piping design basics, scope of work, piping material specification) and client requirements.
- Design & develop piping & instrumentation diagram (P&ID)
- Review customer specifications, analyze engineering requirements & proposed engineered solutions.
- Carry out system design calculations.
- Prepare the RFQ with technical details for the vendor items and review the vendor technical offers in compliance with the tender requirements.
- Prepare Project engineering documents as per VDR & ensure timely completion of documentation.
- Prepare a technical datasheet of rotating equipment / packages such as Positive displacement pump (API 674/675), Agitators as per process parameter.
- A selection of dosing pumps & accessories are used in piping, like pressure relief valve, pulsation dampener, calibration pot, strainer & provide the sizing calculation & datasheet for client approval.
- Prepare a technical datasheet of static equipment such as storage tank, vessel, as per process parameters.
- A selection of piping, flanges, fittings & valves as per piping material specification.
- Solve the technical query received from a client.
- Floating Inquiries to Suppliers/Manufacturers and Comparison studies based on supplier quotations.
- Prepare & Evaluate the TBE sheet.
- Review & approve supplier design calculations, drawings, data sheets, & QC documents.
- Prepare the bill of materials & proceed with purchase & manufacturing activities.
- Prepare a production plan for pressure vessel & equipment.
- Attends the weekly progress meeting internal as well as with clients & assists in preparation of MOM.
- Responsible for planning & implementing all internal design review, external customer design review & project handover to manufacturing.
