This is Pikas, a programmer of AI / Machine Learning / Deep Learning, a maker of Mechatronics, and an artist with a major in Art & Design.
Graduated from National Taiwan University Biomechatronics Engineering Department, I'm not only interested in coding but also good at coding. As an engineer, I always work methodically and rationally. Meanwhile, I can present my opinion well through pictures and words as an artist, which makes me usually play the role of leader in many projects and events.
In 2022, I participated in the Embedded Machine Learning Development Workshop, which was run by the government and composed of Data Science, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Microcontroller Development, Tiny Machine Learning Edge Computing ... etc. I got the top 7% in the Kaggle competition (Titanic - Machine Learning from Disaster) during the lesson.
In 2023, I worked in Taiwan Mobile as an RPA engineer (intern) to automate administrative tasks and to automate the e-mail sending with screenshots of Elastic APM monitored data toward someone periodically. Besides, I learned a little bit about Google Cloud Platform, React, Kibana, and Elastic APM as well.
In the future, I wish to be an excellent AI engineer since I'm passionate about using technology to solve real-world problems and make a positive impact on society.

Research Field : Plant Factory
Essay topic : Red Sorrel (Rumex sanguineus), Red Cabbage (Brassica oleracea var. capitate f. rubra) Sprout and Broccoli (Brassica oleracea var. italica) Sprout Production in Plant Factory
Abstract : The purpose of this study is to establish standard cultivation procedures for vitamin C-rich red sorrel (Rumex sanguineus) and two types of sprouts with high antioxidants, whose economic value are all high compared with regular leafy greens.
Participated in 3 Conferences on Agricultural Machinery and Biomechatronics Engineering and gave 3 speeches.
Translated 2 Japanese books and 2 Japanese papers related to Biomechatronics Engineering.
Biomechatronics Engineering • 2015 - 2019
Chenggong Alumni Association (Artistic Design Department) / Jingmei Alumni Association (Director) / Maker Club (Member) / Pop Music Singing Club (Artistic Design Department)
Organized 5 Biomechatronics Engineering related camps.
I used ChatGPT-3.5 API to create a chatBOT on Colab. Chat records will be saved in "docx" format and stored in users' Google Drive folder, which makes it convenient to read on smartphones. Users can even send a chat record to a friend to continue that conversation seamlessly.
Players in the mobile game called "4=10" have to use four given numbers and limited operators to create a calculation formula that equals ten. I wrote a program to get those answers and developed further games like "5=10", "4=100", "6=6"...etc.
LINE Notify API was used on Colab to create a user-friendly interface, making it easier for individuals who are not proficient in coding to send messages, LINE stickers, and images through "LINE Notify". This can even be scheduled at a specified time.
Multiple Deep Learning models (CNN) are ensembled to distinguish if an X-ray image of one's chest belongs to a pneumonia (bacterial/viral causes are classified) patient or a normal person.
This project is designed for a traveling investigation to save friendships by checking everyone's habits and preferences. Lots of questions in the Google Sheet will be converted into a Google Form automatically.
To find out the underlying logic of a web psychological test called "找找圈內人!" that was developed by the TAIWAN DESIGN EXPO '23 in New Taipei City, every possibility was tried via Selenium and recorded along with the corresponding result. The underlying logic was finally unveiled after analysis.
