Hi, I'm Pin-Chun Hsieh, from Nantou, Puli. Love to exchange of view with other people.
I found my interest in mechanical when I studied at Taichung Industrial High School.
When I studied at National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology, Besides compulsory courses, I also choose some elective courses such as Electric Machinery and Servo Control System Design, Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology, Nano and Micro Manufacturing Technology, etc. These courses make me have a basic concept and knowledge of these Industries.
My graduation project is vehicle design and development. We use the wheel motor from our lab, assemble it with a bike, turn them into a simple electric scooter. Although it just a piece of cake to some Professors, my teammates and I learned a lot of things in the process. We faced many tough problems. For example, when we decide to use the wheel motor, we found that it is on the blink. When we ask our Advisor and graduate students in our lab, they just have no idea about its specification. So we start to take research on the internet, take some tests on the motor and controller. Finally, we solve the problem by ourselves. In the process of making it, we learned how to solve the problem and discuss it together, and exchange ideas with each other. It's quite a precious experience.
And I have another special experience before I graduate. My Advisor asked me and another classmate to work with an entrepreneur, help him measuring the mechanism he did, and drawing into 3D part documents by Inventor. In this period, we also discuss his idea and modify it with him. After the task, I have an immense improvement in my Inventor skills. Besides, I realized the theory will not be 100% match with the actual condition. After all, there's a lot of external impacts existing.
I'm looking forward to cooperating with my colleagues, and improve my language skills in English and Japanese in my spare time. Hope I can contribute to the Industry and the world.
