• Crew Management：Define SOPs ,audit contents, identify team problems, earn crew's trust, comunicate across teams and establish training system.
• Testing：Execute strategies with teams, being flexible to solve problem in the first place. Stay highly communicated with product manager in case "big errors" happen.
• Marketing：Design marketing strategy with team leaders.
• Keyword Planning：Research keywords by tools and analysis. Building keyword lists to determine order ,basic content ,crew in charge, and deadline.
• Content SEO：Make content much more useful by following the rules of E-E-A-T and other factors, such as search intent, uniqueness, freshness and readability.
• On-Page SEO：Establish on-page specification, build writing SOP with content team, and design html / css / js with engineer team.
• UX optimization：Work with UI/UX designer, write useful content and build inbound links to provide high-quality UX.
• Data Tracking：Work with analysis, ensure if strategy works ,or revision is needed.
• Report：Collect essential data to help the whole crew to stay in tuned with SEO contents.

My Tasks

• Site Audit：Use SEO tools such as SEMRUSH, Screaming Frog, Page Insights to check SEO problems.
• Search Habit Investigation：By using "Baidu Index", check how our user search keywords and apply to title tag setting. And track the click rate change later on.
• On-Page SEO：keywords in h1,h2,h3, html5 tags setting, internal links designing, UI/UX optimization...etc.
• Expand TA range：By submitting sitemaps to GSC / Webmaster tools, we expand our TA range from Baidu to Google, Bing and Yahoo. Additionally, we start to apply SEO techniques for google such as structured data, meta tag, canonical setting...etc.
• Robots.txt Setting：For kan.cc is a streaming website, we block the streaming page and allow the "introduction page" to be indexed to save crawl budget.
• Search Market Investigation：Design javascript code to investigate all keywords' search volume every day half-automatically.
• UX Investigation：Use Clarity and hotjar to record user actual activity and enhance user experience.
• Competitor Research：Use SimilarWeb to research our competitor's backlinks and basic website data such as UV per month, dwell time, average visits pages.
• Pagespeed Enhancement：spare spaces from imgs, css, js files and use the 'defer' attribute to load js files in a little while to enhance LCP performance . Meanwhile, suggest the team to use webp file instead and re-design some js functions to make it interact quicker.
• CSS / JS design：Fix the RWD problem and some JS malfunctions to maintain the user experience.
