Biography


My name is Shawn Hsieh. I was born in Hsinchu City and now live in Taipei. I am married and have two daughters. I love my family and willing to accompany with my children growing up. 

I have worked at Sanyang Motor more than 10 years. I was a market administrator and in charge of domestic market more than 4 years, my main works were presenting products to dealers, to maintain relationship between HQ and dealers, marketing activities, market analysis and so on.

My second position was a sales representative of European Market. Main works of this position were international trade, coordinating with importers and factories regarding producing, shipment, market feedback and so on. Now I am a sales representative of spare parts and also in charge of European Market.

I have learnt many skills and knowledge of international trade and also good in communication with importers. Further, I have handled and organized participating international motorcycle exhibitions many times, including INTERMOT in Germany and EICMA in Italy. I believe I am a creative person and can have quick response. 

I was a member of Wind band club of Hsinchu Senior High School and was in charge of scores management. After senior high school, I serviced in marching band of ROC Military Police and played both clarinet and trumpet. Now I am a member of Hsinchu Senior High School’s Alumni Band. I enjoy playing instruments to relax myself.

During my undergraduate, I was an emergency room volunteer of Mackay Memorial hospital in Tamsui. I learned how to be a more patient, courageous, and caring person. Besides, in my senior year of undergraduate, I was a president of our class, and I was selected to be a short term worker at Taipei City Government twice. I also helped my professor to edit Operation Research handouts and to translate the SCM textbook into Chinese. In my graduate, I attended the SOC course. In this experience, I realized that the research and development should have a well organization between consumer market and utility.
