Yuan Ze University X MIT Collaborative program- Science & Culture English Camp, TA & Host

• On behalf of Yuan Ze University and in collaboration with students from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), I led high school and college students to broaden their international horizons and stimulate young students' interest in information technology, language and cultural interests and understanding. 
• Served as the all-English host at the opening ceremony and introduced the camp to hundreds of students and guests.
• During the participation period, I served as a teacher's assistant to assist students to connect with English courses and participate in various interesting competitions and activities.
• During the activity, I also helped teachers and teaching assistants communicate and cooperate with each other, acting as the communication coordinator.

[ About me ]

Hello, I am Shawn, majoring in Human resources in the Department of International Enterprise, Yuanzhi University. I come from Taipei, and my family is in business, which is why I became interested in business from an early age. Under the encouragement and guidance of my parents, I gradually built up an understanding of the business world and company operations. In such an environment for a long time, often seeing how my parents operate smoothly with communication, negotiation and coordination to properly handle everything time and time again, I can't help but greatly admire them. I also found myself in the process of growth gaining the ability to delicately observe human relations, and, good at teamwork, communicate with people.

[Education]

Because of this, I chose to major in human resources at university, on the course of human resources, I learned practical soft power about team building and management, business communication and social skills from many highly successful professors who had spent decades in the workplace, to give myself to lay a good foundation in this field, of course, in the practical aspects of learning also absolutely not careless, when I was in university, also take an active part in extracurricular activities, including active participation in school in all kinds of the lecture hall, from different areas of the industry division listens to the valuable experience and advice, Also took part in English camp witch co-held by Yuan Ze university and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, I mainly be as a teaching assistant in the camp, with three different pilots led students, each phase as dozens of people, and have good relationship with all team members, In addition, I also acted as a bridge between teachers and teaching assistants in the camp by virtue of my good communication and friend-making skills, which helped both sides understand each other's ideas more and made the course go on smoothly. Until now, I have kept personal friendships with a lot of people in the camp.

[Internship Experience]

To broaden my horizons, I attended the Royal Elastics Taiwan summer internship program, and was assigned to the e-commerce department, whose performance continues to grow. During my internship, I was responsible for receiving and shipping orders for e-commerce in Taiwan. I also worked as an assistant editor to design product copywriting. In my spare time, I actively assisted the e-commerce department to do consumer analysis and put advertisements on various platforms, and learned how to use advertising platforms such as Facebook to study consumer profiles and formulate marketing strategies.

[Work Experience]

In addition, I also have two part-time jobs. In order to accumulate social experience, the jobs I have, respectively, are a coffee shop and a restaurant. In the coffee shop, I learned how to serve customers and recommend products to customers, so I got the chance to find out more about coffee beans and making coffee. In the restaurant job, I took a lot of pains at the beginning, because I had never worked in a large chain restaurant as a kitchen worker before, so , in order to get the hang of it more quickly, I actively learned from others and became more and more comfortable in the work. In addition, I also learned more about team work in the workplace.

[Future prospects]

Through various extracurricular activities and work experience, I can find problems and make improvements to get growth and feedback, which gives me a full sense of achievement. Therefore, I hope to get more opportunities for learning and growth, and actively participate in my job in the future. As for my past growth, I am confident that I can exert myself in the following jobs, and I will also modestly absorb more knowledge, because I believe that success is for those who persist and capable, and I am eager for success.
