Experienced Private Equity Fund Manager

A graduate of the University of San Francisco with a BA in economics and business, Soji Fanoiki serves as the managing partner at Boinu Capital in San Francisco. Boinu Capital is a Pan-African fund, focused on investments in select private equity funds in Africa. Focus sectors include those driven by rising consumption, digitization and urbanization, primarily within Africa's faster growing cities. In addition, Boinu Capital partners with managers that incorporate ESG management and strategies within their portfolios. These relationships allow Boinu to give its investors exposure to top-tier private equity opportunities to which investors might not otherwise receive access.

Prior to founding Boinu Capital, Soji Fanoiki worked at Fisher Investments where he spent more than 20 years, starting out as a senior account executive and eventually becoming a senior investment counselor. As an account executive, Mr. Fanoiki prospected, qualified, and on-boarded over $200 million in new business, and as an investment counselor, he managed over 180 relationships with family offices, foundations, endowments, and high net worth individuals, totaling over $300 million in assets.

Soji Fanoiki is a member of the African Private Equity and Venture Capital Association and the National Association of Securities Professionals. In his free time, he enjoys playing soccer, traveling, reading, and cooking.
