- Performed quantitative analysis for diagnosis and evaluation of Alzheimer’s disease, then led a project to design and implement in CGITA; added additional automatic brain segmentation techniques and 3D wavelet algorithm for feature extraction at the target brain area.
- Developed a strategy for early detection of Alzheimer’s disease by applying the development of automatic diagnosis tools. It resulted in the performance of the developed wavelet-based texture analysis for evaluating Alzheimer’s.
